What to expect

This course is open to those with and without fitness certifications who are interested in the Power for Parkinson's® exercise style. In this course you will:

  • Become familiar with Parkinson's disease: its prevalence, risk factors, and impact.

  • Learn the Power for Parkinson's® mission and exercise approach.

  • Understand the benefits of exercise to help manage Parkinson's and delay the progression of the disease.

  • Learn how to safely lead people with Parkinson's in a fitness group setting.

  • Build your own symptom-focused exercise class using Power for Parkinson's® techniques.
